Is this brand deal actually good?

Paste the offer in front of you. We price the exclusivity, translate the usage-rights clauses, and show what Net 90 really costs you, all from your own numbers.

1. The exclusivity cost

Category exclusivity means turning down every competitor for the term. Priced from your own history, here is the revenue you would forfeit.

Your exclusivity floor (forfeited revenue)
$2,250
The deal should clear this on top of the content fee, or the exclusivity is a loss.

2. What the payment terms really cost

Slow terms are a discount you did not agree to. Net 90 on an invoice you cannot raise until the content is live means real money months later.

Present value today

Present value uses a stated 8% cost-of-capital assumption, not a market rate. Adjust or ignore it; the delay is the real point.

Concentration risk

This one deal is 67% of your income for the period, over the 60% line the Loot Vault flags. One brand should not own your rent.

Late payment is the norm, not the exceptionMEDIUM CONFIDENCE
56% of creators have faced late payments

48% report motivation damage, 46% financial strain.

There is no single going rate, and anyone who quotes you one is selling something. The real market is a wide, top-heavy distribution.

These are both real data. They are 8x apart. Anyone who hands you one number is selling you something.

Part of why they disagree: IZEA's figure is 2021 data, four years stale. Collabstr's is 2025 open-marketplace data. CreatorIQ's median is enterprise-only, measured off brand and agency platform spend. They are not the same year or the same market. Undated, this comparison would be doing the same laundering we are calling out.

HIGH CONFIDENCEThe SAG-AFTRA Influencer Agreement sets no rate scale. Compensation is freely bargained. There is no floor and no standard to point a brand at.
